Curious if PACT is the right fit for your family?
What is PACT?
PACT is a structured therapy that helps parents and caregivers better understand and respond to their child’s communication. Instead of teaching children directly, it equips you with the tools to support your child’s development in natural, everyday interactions — such as playtime, meals, or getting ready for school.
Sessions use video feedback to help you see and build on moments of connection, so your child can gradually initiate and sustain communication more often.

01. You and your child are filmed during a short play or interaction session.
You and your child are filmed during a short, relaxed play session using toys or activities you both enjoy. This helps capture natural communication moments in your everyday environment.
02. The therapist helps you watch key clips, identifying what’s working well and how to build on it.
Your therapist reviews clips with you, highlighting where connection is already happening — and where small changes could make a big difference. It’s a collaborative, strengths-based process.

03. You practice strategies at home — for about 30 minutes daily during natural activities.
You practise simple strategies in daily routines — like during play, getting dressed, or mealtimes — for around 30 minutes a day. No extra work or worksheets — just enhancing what you already do.
04. Sessions are held every 2 weeks for 6 months (12 sessions in total).
You’ll meet with your therapist every two weeks, for up to 12 sessions over 6 months. The pace is flexible and designed to fit around your family life.

Paedaitric Autism Communication Therapy Process: How Does It Work?
PACT is not a traditional therapy done to your child — it’s done with you, by empowering you to become the expert in your child’s communication. Each session is gentle, practical, and centred around your everyday family life.
