P., India2014-2017 Degree Obtained: PhD in Psychology Dissertation: Effect of Modernisation and Social Freedom on Women’s Psychological well-being and Quality of Life Research Advisor: Prof. Asma Parveen This is an empirical study on how modernisation and social freedom have affected the psychological well-being and quality of life of women living in urban and rural areas of Uttar Pradesh. Positive and significant differences were found among women. Findings revealed many significant predictors of the dependent variables.

P., India2011-2013 Degree Obtained: Master’s in Counselling Psychology Major: Specialisation in School and Community Psychology Postgraduate Dissertation: Mental Health, Proactive Coping, Anger and Assertiveness of Adolescents Research Advisor: Dr Anupama Srivastava Gender difference was found between means of mental health, assertiveness, and trait anger, but it was not significant. The proactive coping and state and trait anger were positively correlated. Treatise: Risk-taking behaviour among adolescents: role of parent and peer attachment Research Advisor: Dr Anupama Srivastava Developed a short risk-taking behaviour scale. The findings showed higher risk-taking behaviour among males than among females. Peer attachment was positively and significantly correlated with higher risk-taking behaviours among males.
