Beyond Silence: Islamic Sexuality, Identity & Mental Health

Investigating the link between Islamic sexuality, identity, and mental health.

This project seeks to create a respectful and open dialogue around Islamic sexuality—its theological foundations, cultural interpretations, and psychological impacts. We aim to explore how sexuality is experienced in faith-based communities, how silence or taboo affects mental health, and how culturally sensitive therapy can bridge the gap. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, we hope to challenge stigma and foster understanding.
